To us, an adventure is something that takes you somewhere that you wouldn't ordinarily be and shows you things you wouldn't otherwise have seen. On a really small-scale, it could be as simple as taking walk down a lane in your town that you either haven't been along previously, or which you haven't walked along for some time. On a large scale, an adventure could start with a journey to a distant country, with a city or village as the starting destination, followed by further local journeys to other towns or villages, and treks into woodland, hillsides, jungle or vast mountains.

Adventures don't need a specific destination in mind when they begin, and often, the best experiences and memories come from exploring new paths and directions as they appear. Adventures do, however, start with a purpose: that could be a mindset of curiosity ("what will I find?") or a personal need ("I want a refresh!).

Adventures can be undertaken solo, or intentionally begun with others. Regardless of how they begin, it is likely that you will meet others on the way, some exploring their own new paths and some going about everyday life; take time to at least say "hello" and you will find that the different responses you get will alter the path of your exploration!

Ultimately, any adventure will leave its mark on you, hopefully with rejuvinated perspective and encouragement to find further, new things. That is what we find best in an adventure!
