- guided group practical learning activities
- e.g. shelter building, water sourcing and treatment, bladed-tool introduction
- lunch (brought by yourselves), either at the woodland base or via a short walk
AFTERNOON
- further guided group practical learning on different topics
- e.g. sources of ignition + fire fundamentals, progressing bladed tool crafts
- fireside snack/meal cook-up
- e.g. marshmallow smores, firebread, one-pot veg stew + sausages
- closing recap and Q&A

overnight usually at a small, farm-based campsite with simple facilities.
ARRIVAL
- usually arrive and meet Saturday 9.30/10.00, according to confirmed time and location in your information sheet
- introduce and review plans for the day (hike and skills), review the weather and kit required, adjust plans as needed
- head out to base-camp or hillside ASAP
DAY 1 ACTIVITY - Local Hike and Skills
- practice some initial navigation and natural envrionment awareness skills
- follow paths, aiming for some interesting woodland/holes/water/rocks on the way, with lunch in a nice spot!
- group check for the afternoon activities - extended hike or more practical bushcraft skills.
- ETA camp around 4pm, set-up tents (if overnight), light fire
- group cook-up around fire
- casual review of the day, additional bushcraft skill demo and introduction, fireside social, personal time
DAY 2 ACTIVITY - Refresh and Enjoy the Wild
- wake as ready, breakfast.
- tidy camp up (take it gentle, around 10am)
- morning activity (skills or equipment discussion)
- smaller explore, depending on discussion and any particular interest from prev day and/or local area and ongoing plans
- pack, clear and return home refreshed
